A Reluctant Heroine. A Snarky Angel. A Big Mess.

I was contacted by the author and offered an e-copy in exchange for an honest review. The Belgrave Legacy was a story I beta read months back, and I was thrilled to have been sent an e-ARC.
This was a story of young love and deep connections. While the story took place in a world where the devil existed in physical form, and where angels and witches were real, the main character Fawn still lived a fairly mundane life…
Until she met Caleb.
Caleb, on a journey of his own, was your typical bad boy turned good. Originally working for Lucifer to manipulate Fawn, he ended up falling for her, and in turn had to work to keep her safe. He pissed me off more than he made me swoon, and a lot of his dialogue sounded unrealistic, but he managed to redeem himself in the end.
Nothing was easy for these characters, but despite everything, they managed to achieve their happy ending.
The secondary characters, Fawn’s brother Alec and her BFF Ivy, were quirky and added a level of fun to the story. However, I would have loved to see them have bigger roles.
The only thing I got caught up on, keeping me from rating this story higher, was the pacing. I felt there was far too much going on for such a short story. Some things were given too much detail, and other aspects, not enough.
Overall, it was an enjoyable read, and I would recommend it to fans of your typical paranormal romance story.
I gave The Belgrave Legacy 3/5 stars. You can add it on Goodreads here.
